HEY Fellow Beavers, Matt and I want to welcome you to a new spring league. We are happy about having you on our team, and are so looking forward to coaching you and working with your parents. So you know this is a very short season, and so we will be asking alot of you in this time, but remember that You having fun and learning is the most important thing.
Parents, I want to take this time to thank you for your time and patients, You will see alot of things this spring that might be new to you or then again if your not new to this I hope that you see some good things. Every week your kids will be pushed to many extremes, They will come home tired, sore and maybe sometimes upset or even mad. We ask that you support your sons and daughters in a positive manner during this taxing time. We are always open to comments and suggestions. We as coaches can not get any better if we dont know about issues involving your child. Also please know that in the first few practices we will be getting to know your kids and what they can and are limited to do. There are no set postions in the begining and during the year. I will say that every week if we see a kid do an outstanding job during practice then they will be rewarded during the game. But Please understand this is a competition league and we will place kids in postions to win, though it is a shortened season, I am also going to keep this about fundamentals too. I understand that every parent has the idea of what their kid can do or what postion you would like them to play, Please be patient. we will place kids in what we deam their greatest postion to suceed on this team. We do not have any preset notion going into this year on where kids will play. Please let us know if your having issues with your sons or daughters during this time, so that we can help in making them more comfortable. Some concerns about your kids size has come up in many conversations, with other parents. Know this we will not place your childs welfare in harms way. Saying this also know that no kid rides the pine so to speak. ALL kids play and have fun. As equal as possible. We will be coaching these kids so that they succeed in their future playing times, weather it is with Matt and I or with another coach. We only want the best for them.
